Haven't been on much lately due the catching, butchering, and processing of Sea Bass. Caught 8 this week fishing for 2 1/2 days in Monterey. Biggest was 45 # and 53" long. They are one of the best eating fish in the ocean. I emailed some pic's to ShooterJohn and maybe he be kind and add a pic or two to this post. I don't have the computer skills. Back to work at it next week. Buzz

Thanks John for posting the pic's. I'm headed back over tomorrow to keep trying. Best fish in the Ocean for eating. Lots of work but that drag burning first run gets an old mans heart a going. Saw a couple of kids in a 10' Zodiac bring a 60" 58 #'r in to the launch ramp while we were pulling out. They were so pumped up it was really funny.

Went out Wed. for WSB and caught two. one 32# and one 44#. Went South yesterday for Albacore but no luck. I'll hit it tomorrow for WSB again. Hate fishing on weekends but I'll deal with it for one day.

Picked up 2 more smallish fish yesterday 20 and 25#'s. All Vac. Bagged and ready. Lots of boats in the bay yesterday. Can't tell if they out there today due to the fog. The guys in the skiffs with no Radar and the kayaks are going to have it tough today. Yea this weekend is 3 days for some. LOL

Put a 42#'r in the box today. Yes we fillet them. They are a project to fillet for sure and the big ones are a two man job for some of it. Forgot to get a pic today. Sorry

This bite is still going on. We put 3 - 40 # fish in the box last Thursday and 1 - 42#'r Sunday. Lost two nice fish yesterday one due to a nicked leader and one came unbuttoned while getting around the other lines. There's about 60 boats out today and the ocean is flat.
