Posted ImageFresh cotton tail. Airrowed so no shot or lead parts to worry about :( .Cut up . I do thy and leg , back ( backstraps and tinderloin,) Breast and front leg. you get five pieces from one rabbit. Mairanate overnite in soy sauce ,teryaki sause and seasoning salts and what ever you want. Next day wrap in foil with just a little wisky BBQ sauce. Put on barbbie till you like them . Pork chops. Dust with seasoning salt ect ,slap some wisky BBQ sauce on them put on barbie till cooked. Flip the chops four times . Twice real quick to lock in the juices. Goes good with steamed vegies ect.
You can hop but you can't hide. Yahi Bowmen. Its not how far you can shoot but how close to the game you get when you shoot. Sights we don't need any sights. Why waist time reloading when I can be making arrows.

cottontail is very good. jackrabbit is just as good but most don't give it the chance. rabbit is also my favorite game meat right up there with duck(mallard or teal). take mine with stickbows also and don't have to worry about shot.

rabbit makes a very tasty meal ... kept me and my room mates fed back in the day, never bowed any but used a .22 to make head shots, no waste either way
Every boy should have two things: a dog, and a mother willing to let him have one.
