I bought some derlin( plastic material to make tone boards) and wanted to make a 2 piece call. I have been making one piece calls for a while and like them but really like the contrast between the 2 pieces. This tone board is not mass produced I made it and tuned it myself, I will post a sound file later but figured I'd see what all of you think.
Thanks for looking, Ron

Making sound boards from scratch is not as easy as it looks. As you know, if the flat surfaces that contact the reed are not even and the curve is not right, an hours work is down the drain.

I like it. What's the "horn" made out of. I'm just curious cuz it looks cool.

It's made out of a piece of birds eye, PM me you address and I'll send it to you. I don't want to sell it because the barrel has a small split in it, it works great but I won't sell a call that is not perfect.

Nice. Chin Squirrel we are going to need pics of the critter you get with that. Again nice work Jaw Breaker.
You can hop but you can't hide. Yahi Bowmen. Its not how far you can shoot but how close to the game you get when you shoot. Sights we don't need any sights. Why waist time reloading when I can be making arrows.

Hey brother! I just got back home after more than a week out of town and that call you made was waiting for me with the rest of the mail. I already put it on my lanyard. It sounds good too! Thank you!
