I've never actually paid someone to take me hunting before, but I recently broke down and booked a hunt. For those of you who have seen Hunting the Night Shift by Randy Watson and Randy Buker, you'll know where I am going. It is going to be in Texas and will be done from one of their amazing hunting chairs that look like this:Posted ImagePosted ImageI am going to be sitting 12' off the ground in some awesome bobcat habitiat. I've always wanted to try sitting in one of those chairs since I saw the first setup. I'll be going in February with a friend of mine here in Ventura. We'll take a camera so we'll be sure to get some good pictures of anything we get. If anyone else might be interested, Randy gave us a name for another local guide he recommends when we thought there'd be three of us going. (Rusty Holt on PM) Last I heard from Rusty he still had an opening the weekend we're going. One last photo; this is Randy Watson and a 45 pound bobcat he shot down there near Midland.Posted Image

Hey Heath, that looks like fun. You should have a great time having someone else do all of the work and you getting to just shoot.

I really wonder how stable it is in any kind of moderate breeze or gusty situation. :) I know I can feel the movement of a gust of wind inside my vehicle when I am just sitting there scanning the countryside with binos.db

They need some camper jack on that truck to stabilize it better. But maybe they aren't shooting as far as we think and just being up higher is of more importance.
