I have always been a bolt action guy,love em, but want to start get an AR for Preditor calling. I saw a post on PM about the accuracy of the Remington R-15 and can't seem to find them available here in CA. I live in Concord. Whats the deal? Thanks Alec

yes they are available here in CA. It would need be be made compliant either by installing a Bullet Button device or removing the pistol grip prior to shipping to CA.

they can be modified by your FFL here in california while it's in lock-up.

Irvington Arms in Fremont may have one....They send them to an interim dealer out of state who installs the bullet button and then bring them in. I believe the laws make it so they have to be legal when they enter the state but I'm no expert on the subject.

If you are considering an AR chassis hard hitter; don't forget to check out the 6.5 Grendel as an option. Less recoil and a very effective round.
