Got up too early monday was going coyote hunting with a buddy . Made a couple of stands no takers ,Thinking too much going on in the orchards right now. And its too hot to sit in full camo this time of year. So we went after the fuzzies. The cottontails would not stay still . they would jump up and run 50 feet and into a hole. Charly did make a good 40yard + shot on a cotton tail, was like it was in slow motion neck shot.Posted ImageThen we took out some squirrelsHeres me with one Posted ImageCharly again, this was another long shot about forty + yards.Posted Image more squirrelsPosted ImagePosted ImageWas a fun mornning with lots of shots Not going to tell how many wood arrows I detroyed. Now I have an excuse to make more.
You can hop but you can't hide. Yahi Bowmen. Its not how far you can shoot but how close to the game you get when you shoot. Sights we don't need any sights. Why waist time reloading when I can be making arrows.

Looks like way too much fun. When my buddy gets back from El Centro we're going to his ranch in Piru. Should be real good times.
