last week I pulled my son and his friend away from the X-box and went to the local Archery range, once a week they set out all the 3-D targets, Turkey, Boar, deer and Bear. A good time was had by all, I know they had more fun shooting a real bow instead of the remote control one. On a side note my son and I both hit the Bear at 100 yrds out, it took 10 trys but we hit it. If we ever go Bear hunting for real, I need to get rifles.

Was that friday at the manteca rifle range.? I was the guy with the green long bow and coyote quiver.
You can hop but you can't hide. Yahi Bowmen. Its not how far you can shoot but how close to the game you get when you shoot. Sights we don't need any sights. Why waist time reloading when I can be making arrows.

I believe you need to be a member, but I see your in Turlock, you can join the Turlock Sportsmans Club right off of Crows landing road. Its smaller then Oakdale club but would be much closer for you. My son and I took our Hunter safety class there.
