My Son got his first Rabbit

Went out last week, my son nailed his first bunny. Beeman 22 cal, Gamo hunter pellets. This shot was only about 10 yrds out, right below the base of the skull, Mr Bunny never moved a muscle after that. We have been out hunting several times and came home empty handed, but one good day turns all that around.Attached File  1.jpg   10.33KB   25 downloads

First I had him clean his own kill and then on to the bar-B-Q, As we have heard many times, just like chicken, although we cooked it a bit to long and it was a little dry. We will do better next time.

well i'd rather have it cooked dry then bloody and or under cooked for sure lol

Right on. Congrats to your son and great shot placement. Next time soak the bunny for two or three days in some sort of vinegar based marinade. Mmmmmmm
