We went to a local lake and nailed some nice catfish today. We were going to fish at Lake Calvaris but went to lake Hodges instead and caught these catfish and were home by 7am. My son caught the biggest at 8lb6oz and one of the other bigger ones. they were all caught on mackeral within 10 feet fom shore. Posted ImagePosted Image Thanks for looking, Ron

Good for you taking your Son. I often wonder why the little ones ALWAYS caught the biggest fish? It always seems to work that way though. He has memories that will last a life time. Thanks to you, Pops. :653: :signs1180lq: :rofl2:

You got that right, I'll bet he spends more time on the water than alot of guys out there. Since he was 2 he's been on my boat 95% of the trips.

Way to go. Glad to see little ones catching fish, and a monster one too!!! My best childhood memories were from fishing with my Grandpa and hunting with my Uncle.
