Just wondering, I cant remember if the meat is soiled on a rabbit if it isnt shot in the head using lead bullets.

Wash them good and cook them no problems.
You can hop but you can't hide. Yahi Bowmen. Its not how far you can shoot but how close to the game you get when you shoot. Sights we don't need any sights. Why waist time reloading when I can be making arrows.

Were doctor gloves when you clean them. And when you cook them. After they are done [cooked] no worries. Just a precaution, I used to do it bare handed but then heard about tulameria [sp] . I have been eating them for 30 years and no problem, as a matter of fact I have one in the cooler right now. Enjoy them on a plate! Longboard

If you shoot them with a 30 cal rifle type there may be nothing left to eat but mush :D

I try to aim for the head because their digestive guts go so far forward. A shot thru the forward ribs on a deer would be easy lungs but the same shot on a rabbit will cause a really stinky mess. :D
Sharps, the rifle that made the west safe for Winchester!

Real tractors have two cylinders and hand clutches.

My rifle is mine, it isn't for sale, and I only give guns to people that I really like.

I hit em all over and sometimes lose a little meat...head shots are best but not always doable. Haven't ever worn rubber gloves and so far so good. EAT EM!!!

Try that Korean BBQ marinade on it, it sounds good and I'm sure it can be used on all kinds of meat.

I perfer to use a pellet gun on bunnies and I always go for a head or shoulder shot. You stand to not lose as much meat, the better AG's are accurate out to 100 yards, and they are much quieter and won't spook the game allowing you to get off a second shot or take out the bunnies buddy.

We went out to apple valley area and shot a jackrabbit. It was almost the size of a cocker spaniel, this thing was huge. I never field dressed one, and neither has the other 2 guys that were with me. I dressed it like a deer as best as i could. my knife was too big for sure, it had like a lot of meat on it, almost looked like it could feed the whole family lol
