Redfield is made in Oregon. Did Leupold buy them or put them back in business? Do any of you have info on Redfield through experience? I have read all the commercial info. Thanks,

I just bought a new 2x7 which I stuck on a .223 and I'm very impressed. I think they are trying right away to capture the market with the quality of their optics. I wouldn't expect this to last very long. But buy one now and you'll be happy. In comparision, I think the redfield is a better scope than my Leupold at half the money.

Redfield is certainly putting out a quality scope at a very reasonable price!

all a mute point now, I bought a Bushnell 4x12x40 Trophy, adjustable objective and came with Butler Creek flip up lens covers. I shot squirrels the past two mornings and........ this combination on Savage Mark ll in 17 MACH2 is a shooter. Look for my video and post later today.
