I'm looking for a little info about the jack rabbit population around Duck Lake, Nevada. It is just a little south of Eagleville, Ca. I haven't been up in the area for the last couple of years and then it seemed the rabbit population was on the rise but I have seen many areas around Fernley that I thought the same and this spring those areas had very few rabbits. My father in law and I are taking my kids out for a week long trip and hoping to get into some good shooting. We were originally going to head out to Orovada but my oldest son's school is being pain in the butt about him taking his finals early and my father in law is coming to visit from oregon so we are trying to find a good spot in between. But still stay in Nevada. Any advice on the area would be greatly appreciated.
