Here is the skull from one of the coyotes Soreloser got on Saturday; he got his first double!! The first two are from yesterday and the second is from today. He called this in with a couple of hand calls he got from ArkyYoter

Those beetle are awesome. I can't get over how fast they've worked over that skull. I spent almost as much time boiling that last one out I did and it didn't look half as nice.

They are actually quite a bit of fun! As soon his skull is finished I am going to add mine. It is dried out but sitting in the freezer. Oh, and I still have a jack rabbit skull to do.

I may have a raccoon skull here soon as one killed one of my roosters last night.  Goldie.JPG   91.92K   70 downloadsI thought I heard something about 3:00 AM but then nothing but I found him this morning. So I put out some live traps today and if I'm successful that raccoon will be going for the world record breath holding competition in my pool.

Something tells me if he breaks that record that he'll only do it once! If you get him skin out his head and throw it in a freezer. After its froze solid send it my way!

No, I stay up till 2:30 AM waiting for him and he never tripped the sensor in the yard. He or she was probably full from the night before. They'll be back and I'll get them one way or the other. That darned skunk didn't even come around last night and he's been here almost every night. I hadn't put out the live traps because of the skunk but they must know I'm gunning for them.Hooray 20K on the posts! We've never come close to that many. Not evenon the old forums.

I took it out today and it looks pretty good! I think I am going to soak it for awhile long because some of the teeth could stand to look a little better. What do you think?

Man that thing looks AWESOME ! ! ! Maybe I should soak my head in peroxide and I wouldn't have to go to the dentist. I think it looks really nice you and your beetle's do a great job.

It has only been soaking for 2 days. I am going to let it soak until the end of the week and see if that wont get the last few dark spots out.My skull in with the beetles is doing great. I will try and get some more pictures of it up soon.Soreloser, those missing teeth were sitting in the bottom of the cup. I will mail them along with the skull and hopefully you can glue them back in.

Those teeth can easily be glued back. That peroxide does eat that bone a bit probably loosening the teeth. Maybe leaving the skulls in too long helps those teeth to fall out?

John, I didn't have the teeth problems with the bobcat. I wonder if it isn't in part due to it being pup from this years liter and it was in the process of loosing a tooth any way?

I guess that could be it. Do you keep your peroxide covered and in the dark? It is supposedly drastically affected by light and air too. I figured that out because of the dark bottle it comes in. I are smart!
