I'm gonna try that tomorrow with all my closed reeds that I have. I'm pretty sure I can make that sound happen. As a matter of fact I just got a closed reed from Alpenliter that might be perfect for this, I'll let you know how it comes out.Oh yeah, Shoot-it: You should be using a bow, not one of those sissy guns for bear. Can anyone make the sound of a black bear cub in distress with hand call.I bet this would bring in a bear for sure . check out whatt a recording sounds like. http://www.bear.org/...s/bdistress.wavIf someone can make me a hand call that makes that Sound I will buy it.

Try up around Lake Arrowhead I talked to the forest service up there and they tell me that the bears are thick up there and more need to be harvested than currently are. In close to town it is shotgun or archery only. This is all I know. Call the forest svc they were decent to work with when I was up there working.Well, I wasn't going to do it, but I am going to get my bear tags. I need to scout for some ground that is easy for me to get around on and do some some scouting.
