I have a possible hunt where it will cost $400 per person to hunt turkey in Paso Robles, CA. I need a partner, or the guide wont go. It is a 1 day hunt. Last year the guide's success rate was 10/11; however the 11th guy MISSED. If anyone wants to jump on this opportunity, please PM me. I live in Palos Verdes (Los Angeles).

I'll charge you $250, and I'll let you drive the truck. The hunt consists of swerving around as many as you want until you hit your desired, bearded trophy. Seriously, there are so many turkeys these days, one (me) would really have to contemplate paying $400 for a guided turkey hunt. If you're willing to drive all the way to Paso from L.A., you should look into some of our Forest land, and BLM lands for hunting opportunities. Not saying you shouldn't do it, but...you might find more "free" opportunities for turkey, since the darn things can't seem to slow down their efficient reproducing strategies in recent years.

I wouldn't spend that to shoot a pig much less a turkey. Cost per pound seems kinda high for a bird w/ no drumsticks. :signs653wf:

John is that pied one still around ? .
You can hop but you can't hide. Yahi Bowmen. Its not how far you can shoot but how close to the game you get when you shoot. Sights we don't need any sights. Why waist time reloading when I can be making arrows.
