There are a number of hip quiver manufacturer out there. Look for one that holds the arrows firmly in place, has broadhead protectors and can be canted in different positions (fletches forward or rearward). They are as quiet as you make them yourself. Bruce, if I find one of my old ones, I'll bring it to the meet and give it to you.

My 2 cents is don't worry about it. If it works for you then so be it. There's in my opinion no right way to mount your quiver. The biggest thing about it is that your comfortable using your equipment the way you have it set up.I get laughed at alot. Alot more than I deserve. I think...

Hey you killed my fluffy. I think that is just sick. How can you kill a poor old mangy, stinking ,flower bed crapping, tire spraying , D%% cat.
Turn the quiver around it will get hung up that way and an arrow might fall out and get you instead of a pig .
