Wyoming coyote problemThe Sierra Club and the U.S. . Forest Service were presenting an alternativeto the Wyoming ranchers for controlling the coyote population. It seems that after years of the ranchers using the tried and true method ofshooting or trapping the predators, the Sierra Club had a "more humane"solution to this issue. What they were proposing was for the animals to be captured alive. Themales would then be castrated and let loose again. Therefore the population would be controlled by this method. This wasACTUALLY proposed by the Sierra Club and by the U. S. Forest Service. All of the ranchers thought about this amazing idea for a couple of minutes. Finally, an old fellow in the back of the conference room stood up, tippedhis hat back and said;"Son, I don't think you understand our problem here","These coyotes ain't "screwin" our sheep - they're eatin' 'em!"You should have been there to hear the roar of laughter in that room. Themeeting never really got back on track.

It's called the castration diet. No nuts no sheep? Them Sierra Club boys got an answer for everything.

That's To Funny
Knowing the sierra club you would think that castration would be inhumane. What a bunch of Meatheads

I want to see a Sierra Club member holding one down and castrating it. Time for popcorn.

one simple question is how do they prepose to capture a coyote? I have a 100% rate of failure in cage trapping coyotes.

One way to trap a Yoke would be to leave a new car out in a field with In & Out Burgers on the dash...After seeing all the Super Bowl Ads...I am sure this would work...No problem.

This solution sounds about as logical as most stuff that comes out of the Sierra Club.

Wouldn't it be more fun to watch a Sierra Club member being pinned down and castrated by a pack of coyotes? (...while the entire CPC membership enjoys the show...)I want to see a Sierra Club member holding one down and castrating it.

Have you ever met any of these Sierra Club guys? Trust me...they've already been castrated. Have you seen the females in the Sierra Club? They do the castrating.
