34 downloadsThe last day of the season, we changed plans and went to the Lodge and took my 83 year old uncle along. We went jump shooting the first 20 minutes (or at least that was the plan) and my cousin did not come back for 3 hours. He came back with 2 mallards, 3 wood ducks, a gadwall and a wigeon. When he got back, my uncle was very mad at him and my cousin was tired and was not really in the mood to go out into the field with all the gear. My uncle, his dad, insisted and we made the long walk out to our favorite pond and I did not fire a shot the whole day.I thought I learned a long time ago that when my cousin goes jump shooting, it is a good idea to tag along as I can outshoot him. I did not know I was going to get stuck at the truck with his dad when he decided to go off on his own

I shot these on 1-29-2010. My cousin got 2 specks, 2 drake sprig and a drake mallard. It was a good day.

My cousin has a talent for finding ducks when none seem to be flying.

I need some help i need someone to take me to a place where i can get some ducks for my collection. I need a speck goose a drake blue wing teal and a drake wood duck. I can trade and bring the person to a spot where they will kill drake redhead and canvasbacks. PM me if interested. I live in Riverside county and obviously will only travel so far.
I don't hunt to kill, I kill to have hunted.
