Yea the floods really screwed up my last week of hunting. I had super high expectations before the big storms. I had #4 for Sac this past Sunday, which we killed the 4 mallards, 1 cinnamon, 1 bufflehead, 1 widgeon and 1 wood duck that came in to the blind all day. The geese were absolutely no where to be found. We drove around the closed zone tour loop and saw 1 pair of specks, 1 lone rossie and a group of 5 snows. We did find an awesome fully mature Eurasian Widgeon though. I have #27 for tomorrow mornin at Sac but were not gonna bother with the 3 hour drive for a few ducks. I also have #10 for Delevan for the 31st. Doubt the refuge will even be open. Even if it is I don't know if we will go.

Where I hunt is bunk. No ducks. They moved to the bypasses. The bypass flooding has ruined the last 3 weekends of the season where I am so I'm not even going. =/

My father in laws club up in the Butte sink is flooded out. Their duck house has twelve inches of water in it and the road is flooded for 2 miles driving in.

Time waits for no one--
treasure every moment you have.
