Real tractors have two cylinders and hand clutches.
My rifle is mine, it isn't for sale, and I only give guns to people that I really like.

I've always read that a tight full choke with steel especially large shot is a no no. Bad patterns and bulging barrels. You may want to check into that a little bit. I use a mod (1/2) or the imp. cyl (1/4) chokes with steel. I tried the imp. mod. (3/4) and it doesn't pattern well in my gun.I use a Remington 870 with a tight full choke and number 2 steel for ducks and t shot for geese

Factory chokes normally don't have the strength to shoot steel. I have several aftermarket full and ext full that are intended for steel shot. I have a nova and have put hundreds of rounds through it with full and ext full chokes. NO issues what so ever. However my factory full choke states "no steel". I think this is really a mater of material the choke is made of, not the barrel. Most of the pressure is at the bolt and barrel joint, no the end of the barrel. Provided you don't try and shoot a slug or a homemade load out of your gun the steel shot full chokes are tested and proofed. Many choke man. have full steel shot chokes. Even Carlson. Hope this helps with the myths out there.OK??? I just was reading the owners manual on a brand new Browning which I have on the cleaning table. The owners manual says and I quote. " full choke is not for use with steel shot" Whatever floats your boat.

All of my stock Rem chokes are fine with steel (three Remington shotguns), it may be what Benelli puts out that's not OK (stock chokes). I also bought a factory super full extended choke that says "OK to use for lead or steel" right on the choke.Factory chokes normally don't have the strength to shoot steel. My 870's full choke has the same "not for steel" warning that my Nova has. Maybe its a matter of bang for buck. What type of Rem are you shooting? All of my stock Rem chokes are fine with steel (three Remington shotguns), it may be what Benelli puts out that's not OK (stock chokes).
