Hi Bruce, I was watching National Geographic, and I have read in the past as well. Condors are not the brightest birds out there, they are still dying and in this presentation, a condor was found dead! After careful investigations, and the destruction of the animal, they found that the bird swallowed a quarter. Apperently, people at this one location have been throwing their loose change over the cliff for good luck and the dumb bird ate it. Currenly the US government is now trying to figure out how to outlaw coinage due to the increasing death of the condor, since lead is now not the leading sourse of their death!Well, I made the the last sentance up, sorry

Bruce, the point of the whole anti Barnes deal was they lied about their stock on hand and ability to produce also. We're still after two years having difficulties getting correct ammo in sufficient quantity and correct caliber. They also mentioned they were of equal price and both of those statements were false. That's the BIG rub with their whole presentation. Since Barnes doesn't sell manufactured ammo they shouldn't be saying they are equally priced. Not everyone reloads so that has a big impact in every statement made. This is a dead subject now as it's over and done with. We're just now starting to see bullets and ammo. Sorry but you're beating a dead horse now. Where were you when this was happening? Not trying to be confrontational just stating the facts as they were.

SJ is right. Probably 95% of deer and hogs killed in in California used to be taken with a seventeen dollar box of corlokts or silvertips, not a fourtyfive dollar box of premium stuff. So saying they were on line price wise with what we were already using was a big, fat, nail in the coffin lid.
Sharps, the rifle that made the west safe for Winchester!

Real tractors have two cylinders and hand clutches.

My rifle is mine, it isn't for sale, and I only give guns to people that I really like.
