I actually put two good shot dents in the band. You can see one of them in the picture above.

I Finally got a band to put on my call Lanyard. Dumped a big canvas back hen and she was sportin' some bling. The numbers were almost worn off but with the light just right you can still make out all of the numbers. Called it in and should be getting the birds history certificate in the mail in 2-3 weeks.

Sharps, the rifle that made the west safe for Winchester!
Real tractors have two cylinders and hand clutches.
My rifle is mine, it isn't for sale, and I only give guns to people that I really like.

Congrats on the band. I am still bandless this year. I shot at a drake woody last year and ended up knocking down the hen he was flyin with. I was pissed as I walked up to her and she flipped over and started kickin her feet how they do. Then I realized she was banded. I wasn't so bummed then. She was about 3 years old banded in Patterson, CA. A band on a can is a pretty cool prize in its own. Sounds like she is gonna be an old bird. Keep us posted on the results...

There you go congrats on your ring you deserve it .Getting a band is such a great feeling 2 years ago i got my only bands both off canadian geese . It was killing my bro as it was done on back to back shots closing out a friday night hunt i dropped a band on last shot . Sunday morning i dropped another on my first shot he watched 2 shots for two rings he got nothing . Both birds where taken at full speed flying in low to sleep and leaving in the AM to feed over here the tide drops out all the way and they slap the mud hard .
