Walt I used to cast the cores for my swaged .224 bullets. I had dies to form .22 rimfire cases and swage them into .224 hollow points. But I've cast almost every pistol bullet. Some rifle bullets mostly .30 cal. The problem with smaller bullets is getting and keeping the mould hot enough. But you can do it. Do you have a mould for it yet. If not I'd suggest a four cavity to help keep it hot.I was just wondering. I haven't done it for awhile and traded an extra 30-30 TC barrel to a fella for some casting stuff and wanted to see if I could make the 221 shoot them. I have shot them in my 44 and 32-20 but never could make them shoot as well as jacketed bullets but I will work on it and see what I can come up with. I want to make the 30-30 shoot and 7 TCU shoot them casts if I can figure out some decent loads for them. It is fun to cast them things and keeps me amuzed while I tend the BBQ....Walt
