High of 102 full moon ,Perfect time to call. Got to my spot in the apricots about 3:00 pm sat for about 10 min, no movement. made a little soft squeel with the turky call and seen movement way out there ,a jack was hopping and munching about 250 out get in about 100 and bang hair in the air the thing lands and runs about 30yards and piles up ? first rabbit I seen run after being hit with my 223. did not hit any bones went between the ribs little excit hole . sat there a little longer nothing. moved to another spot this place is good for yotes. Sat under a wind mill ,looking down a little dirt road between almonds in front and on both sides a dirt road that fallows a bank. Sat there nothing then a jack pops out about 100yds in the middle of the roard in front of me, he flattens out, do some sqeeking with the turky call ,he stands up strait put the cross hairs on him and I see two coyotes looking at me. both are real good looking. they are about 100yds behind the rabbit, witch is asbout as flat as a pancake now. look back at the yotes ones gone and the other is laying down all I see is its face but its moving in never seen this before ? A little closer and your mine, right I was shaking heart going like crazzy cross hairs all over the place. Then the yote burns on in the rabbit runs to the left about three feet and turns 180 and puts the after burnners on, the other yote is right on it! Wow watched them zig zag in the almonds when the rabbit would turn one of the yotes would cut him off all three was out of sight in seconds then I here a aeeeeee way out in the other ocherd ,tried to find the kill spot for pics but no luck. It seemed like a long time when it was going on but it was only seconds. Did get a few jacks to come in some other almonds.

You can hop but you can't hide. Yahi Bowmen. Its not how far you can shoot but how close to the game you get when you shoot. Sights we don't need any sights. Why waist time reloading when I can be making arrows.
