I just recently bought a hog grunt call for kicks. I was wondering if anyone has had any luck with the grunt call. Also I was wondering if anyone knows where I can go to get some good audio of what hogs sound like so I can pratice. I have checked out youtube but all I get are people making the (suuiEE) calls. I am looking for audio that I can stream at my computer. I am not looking to purchase a hog tape. I just want to get an idea of what they sound like.Thank you in advance :smiley-outta-here:

personally, I have never used a hog call, but did download a Primos app (yes there's an app for that) on my iPhone which includes some hog calls...grunts and squeals...mybe you can get the app by downloading iTunes to your PC, then going to the app store? just a thought.http://www.primos.com/iphone/

All the call makers agree, the only thing the hog call does is put money in the pocket of the call maker. Other that that, it is worthless.

Yea thats pretty much all I have come across with my reading as well. That grunts dont really work and squeelers only work on occasion. No biggie, I can still return it if I dont want it. Just thought it would be fun to give it a shot.Ill give the primos app a try, I have the turkey app but never saw one for hogs. I will take another look and check it out. Thanks

You can hop but you can't hide. Yahi Bowmen. Its not how far you can shoot but how close to the game you get when you shoot. Sights we don't need any sights. Why waist time reloading when I can be making arrows.

Oh, I took no offense, was just wondering what you were talking about. Secret messages on an open forum are a bit confusing. :smiley-innocent-halo-yellow:

I found that standing on a bar stool and yelling out "LAST CALL!" usually get them coming in pretty good.

I've always just grabbed a bag of chips and rustled the bag as I open it and they usually come in droves. I guess this could be considered baiting as well, I need to check the regs.
