Got this via email:A guy came into a store department the other day to ask a favor.He had a S&W Model 629 44 Magnum that he wanted to dispose of after amishap at the range. He said there was a loud bang when he tested hisnew load (apparently double powder measure)and the gun smacked him in the forehead, leaving a nice gash.When the tweety birds cleared, this is what he saw.....

I was gunna say that is why i use powder that almost fills the caseSo i dont double charge by mistake.But that apparently was a factory load!!! Thats scary.

That guy is lucky to be alive. Wow, that would leave a mark. It's a good thing that didn't happen with a high caliber rifle, he might have had a bolt embedded where his eye was. You're right Tuck, scary! Ty
