I check out the almonds next to them and no one is in there. park the truck at a corner so the rancher would no Im in there. Get stuff ready water and shells and cam. Look down the 1st row, nothing 2nd nope, 3rd yep about 200 yds down the row dark clump.sit and aim looks kind of small. I blow on the catton tail call nothing. try the jack yep it sets up on hind end looks my way ears up. BANG, dust flys up short of the jack. 
Dang no way. adjust one inch high on the head Bang and a long pause PLOP. Dang that seemed like a long pause between the bang and the plop. 
I go walking , and some more walking 400 steps later I see the wabbet. Im about halfway to him and through the ochard 835 steps from truck to wabbet dang. 
Wow Im excited now. normal step about 14 inches comes out to.324 yards that rabbet had to be at least 8 pounds. the 1st pic is looking at the jack and looking down the row to the truck. and some more dead bunnys.And yes I took the young ones home no ticks verry few fleis . nice healthy jacks. The last 2 were in the apricots late in the day.
