This is somewhat related to another message I just posted regarding my experiences trying to perfect my home-built e-Caller. I recently ordered and received an “iJet Two-Way LCD Remote Control”. $40 on eBay for a new one. This gizmo is supposed to wirelessly control your iPod at a range of up to 100 feet. It has a 2-line display window and lets you scroll through the sound files (songs) on your iPod as well as control the volume and pause/play. Sounded perfect for an e-Caller because I could plug my iPod directly to the amplifier/speaker for clean sound and not be bothered with RF white noise that seems to be inherent when using a wireless transmitter/receiver radio unit. Or so it seemed. They sent me a dud and I’m playing phone tag to try to get one that works. This iJet product was mentioned in another predator hunting forum. Is there anyone here who is using an iJet 2-way LCD remote to control their iPod-driven e-Caller?How’s it working out for you? Thanks.Ken
Anyone using an iJet remote controller with their iPod
