Wondering what you guys think of the Wingsetter 8 in 1 I think it is. Just bought it as my first call, so far heard nothing but good things. It's not the priciest kind, but heard it works.

That's an excellent duck whistle. Ducks unlimited has sound files of a lot of different duck species. Check them out and mimic the tones and cadences. The whistle sounds you want to learn are greenwing teal, pintail, American widgeon, and mallard drake. Best thing about a regular whistle is that they are so darn reliable. They'll keep working when every other call on your lanyard is locking up from moisture. The ones that make the fluttering sound for you are about worthless in wet conditions. Once they get wet the little roller thingy gets stuck and then you just have a whistle with a piece of junk stuck in it.

........this thread will probably go on forever because every year about this time I start my duck hunting jonesin' and I drag it back up. Lol!!.......

Got a new favorite call. The Zink ATM. It's a funny looking call but it sure sounds good and it blows wet. Only five more months till duck season!!!!
