That area sure is growing fast-last time I saw it there were new homes for miles. Glad to hear there is still some open space to be found.Post pictures!Steve

Going south from Brentwood there is still a lot of open land. The ranch I go to is 6,000 acres. Don't know how much longer it will be there. The regional park has already made one power play to acpuire it.Saw four 'yotes. Pulled into the yard and parked by the hay barn, saw the yotes about 300 yds out. they weren't interested in staying around. We tried a couple of shots but, missed. Got a few squirrels out about 200 - 250 yds. Great day! B) Much better than working! Saw a nice buck, one wild pig, the 4 yotes, and some, now deceased, ground squirrels. Sorry, no pics.Gary

Gary,Any day hunting is better than a day at work! Or is that any day fishing. :D Oh heck, does it really matter as long as you're not working? :D Sounds like a good time. B)

Sounds like it was fun.
You can hop but you can't hide. Yahi Bowmen. Its not how far you can shoot but how close to the game you get when you shoot. Sights we don't need any sights. Why waist time reloading when I can be making arrows.

'Twere fun. Bounced around in a jeep all morning and pinged squirrels, at a slow pace, all afternoon. Posted ImageOnly pic of this ranch. To get to the squirrels we shot it was crossing gulleys, etc. The cattle they have are about half goat. Gary
