Thanks Jeff. I think I have some Kent Cartridges in #2 that I bought. I will pattern them next time I can and go from there. Thanks again.

nice bucks...whats the story behind those? Seems like one is carrying some sort of decoration on his antlers...

The Decoration on his antlers is tree rope like they use in orchards. Looks like he fought it quite a bit, before getting loose. The guy that killed him is going to have him mounted with the rope still in his horns. We have been giving him a bad time about having one tied up. LOL He was a real nice buck. The biggest buck the guy has ever killed. Horns were nice, but there was 159 pounds of hanging meat at the locker which is big for CA in my experience. The smallest buck, which was mine LOL was 79 pounds of hanging meat. The two biggest bucks were running together and killed together. There is a bunch of us that deer hunt, duck hunt, and fish together sometimes. For where we hunt, sometimes you need a lot of people to drive the deer out if they are not moving. We put together a couple of hunts and these are the bucks we killed opening weekend of duck season. They are at another friends house who is a Deer and Pig and Fishing Guide, who was also involved in the hunt. He has a real nice cleaning station with electric winches for skinning. We met there after hunting two different locations and cleaned our bucks before taking them to the locker. We have started doing guided Deer hunts and Pig hunts on a private ranch also. The Pig hunting is guaranteed for a shot at a pig. We can not help it if you miss. Hope to be posting some nice pig pictures soon.

Thats cool Bennie. Looks like you guys are mounting a good all around guide service with access to land. As I mentioned before - my family has a long history in the Yuba City area (born there - my grandparents operated the Sprouse Ritz near the old Wentz supermarket many moons ago. 40+ yrs -- wow memories. Ive been talking to my cousin who has access out in Colusa and mentioned they are getting quit few hogs out that way. Have you heard the same?
