Carp fishing is a huge sport in England. All sorts of specialized equipment. Is Carp fun to catch fishing? A dozen in an hour would be a blast on lite tackle!

Ya they are fun to catch on lite tackle. Pound for pound they fight just as hard if not harder than any other fish a lot of people think of them as a trash fish because they are not good eating or because they live in ditch's and eat on muddy bottoms but in reality so do most other fish. But all of these I shot with my carp bow I didn't fish for them just shoot at them but last weekend we caught a really big one.Coyoteslayer in the Winter/Fall.Carpslayer in the Spring/Summer.:lol:Is Carp fun to catch fishing? Lake Almanor in Plumas County is full of them. Big ones! Alot of guys up here go carp shooting with their bows on Almanor. Never tried it myself but it looks like fun!!! RonAre there any carp in southern CA? I'm heading down there this winter but I don't ever even remember seeing a river. doh! i'll probably have to stealth the golf course ponds.
