The Dead Coyote Choke has a .660 constriction...which is really tight. Curious what you shotty guys are using and how you determine which choke for which area. Seems to me that the bushier the terrain (requiring close shots up to 25 yards), the more a tight choke is less beneficial. Which choke would you use in the chapparral (like say CNF) versus a more open desert area?

Never mix never worry.If I'm shooting waterfowl or upland birds I will change out my choke according to what I'm doing. Shooting predators I just #4 buckshot and a Dead Coyote choke. Usually the closer they are the easier they are to hit.

I shoot a .670 and a .680 in my over/under. .680 is the first shot firedThe need for changing chokes for various distances is no where near as important as learning how to shoot with the same choke at all distances.

i am with moe, never mix never worry. i shoot a primos dead dog choke i believe its a .680 i only change it for bird season. no problems takin yotes at any distance.
