hi,is it leagl to hunt cottons in San Bernardino right now. i have a hunting license but dont know the season or restrictions.

Hey guys are .22lr cartidges still o.k. to be lead in the condor zone when hunting cottons?

I think only air rifles can use lead in that area now.

I want to remember that when the ban first came out there was an exception for .22 only when hunting cotton tails. It was convaluted to follow (imagine that) but since then I've lost touch with the regs but found a honey hole in the condor zone. Last weekend I hit one just at dusk with my R9 .20 but I'm afraid I only injured the rabbit before it went off into the brush.

where can u hunt in SB anyways? up in the cajon area? i know friends that own property up there and curious about hunting up there too
