Made a quick hunt after work . Was on the tail gate drinking a soda and this snake comes rolling down the levey at me , was balled up on a fuzzy.Posted Image25big steps out sitting by a squirrel hole looking at me.Posted Image30 of my big steps out. mist twice  :) one right over its head and one right under its head . third shot aimed for the middle.Posted ImageSeen a big black ferral cat in a row on the way back to the truck, made a stalk on it wooops. Skunk and a big one that did not want to be fooled with, made some fast back stepping.
You can hop but you can't hide. Yahi Bowmen. Its not how far you can shoot but how close to the game you get when you shoot. Sights we don't need any sights. Why waist time reloading when I can be making arrows.

some good shooting! do the bunnies just sit there and let you take multiple shots until you connect? are they that dumb? I checked on the price on recurve bows at Bass Pro Shops and I was shocked at how expensive they were!

Im in full camo ,you have to sneek up on them. that one did not know what was going on. Most of the time you have just a few seconds before they run. But cotton tails are much easyer than squirrels or jacks. The recurves at bass pro are not the best . A good recurve or long bow is going to cost as much or more than a good rifle. Go on the inter net and get a good used one. Bear makes some of the best economy bows out there. PSI stink IMO. The Bear montana long bow is a great bow.A little tweeking and they shoot great.

I think BPS had two or three Bear recurves in stock. any advice where to look for a used one online? are you shooting on private property?
