I asked for advice on bringing my Grandfathers very old 12 ga out of retirement. It is a Henry Arms model around a hundred years old, it had always worked well and was also stored well but no round went thru it for 40 years or more. Well I followed most of the advice given, got it chacked out and took it out to the range. Let me say this is one fun gun to shoot, just as constant as my newer mossbreg 500 12 ga. My goal is to hand it over to my son for some small game hunting, that will make four generations of history, As was recemended, I used #7 target load shells, worked just fine. Thanks Grandpa, maybe you can guide the next hunt from up above. And Thanks to all you members who gave their advice. heres a quick pic's.
