Bought this:http://www.amazon.co...g/dp/B0007WJSN6Box says recommend dry silica sand, but I figure sand would be way too heavy to carry around. What do you air rifle hunters use to fill the rest bag? And filler recommendation and places to buy? Thanks

My Caldwell rests came with the filler, it was either walnut or corn husk, works great. Got it all at Midway USA.
Take no guff, cut no slack, hookum, bookum and don't look back.

Thank you guys, really helpful information. After finding out about corn cob, I went to a local Petsmart, they sell it in big bags for $7.5/bag.It's normally used for bird bedding, but it works for me. And yeah, it's got some anti-oder stuff in it too.
