I picked up a box of Hornady 52 grain A-Max for my 22-250 that has a 1-14 twist rate. I finally loaded up 50 rounds with different loads and tried them out this weekend at the range. I am impressed with it and have a good load I want to try out again on squirrels this weekend. Sorry, no Chrony data.Anyone else shoot the A-Max?

They're not a good squirrel round. Be careful of your back ground because they will ricochet.

I shoot a 52 gr A-Max out of my 22-250AI. I better not print my loads.(Their Hot) Sundy shooting them thru my Chrony 4,011(3 shot 1/4 MOA Cooper classic). Any how I shot a coyote last October it blew a chunk of meat out of its chest. I also shot a Rabit . Now that I think about it. It didn't do as much damage to the rabit as did a 55gr V-Max out of a 223.Never the less it was dead on the spot, I used its corps as an atractent for the coyote.
