After seeing posts on that .30/378 and .50 Beuwolf I am curious to see what the largest big game round/caliber everyone has. For me it's my 300 Win Mag followed by 30-06 and 30-40 Krag.

My 7mm Rem Mag has never failed, but my .30-40 Krag has.I'm jealous...very jealous.

That 4 bore case was made for Butch Searcy (Searcy Rifle Co) up in Boron, CA for a single shot rifle he made for a client who wanted to hunt elephant with it. The gun came out weighing over 25 Lbs and shot a 2,000 grain bullet at 2,000 fps. I don't know if the client ever used it.I do know that you couldn't pay me to shoot it to regulate the sights!

I have a short video clip on my computer of a guy shooting a 4 bore that just about loses the gun and hits the guy behind him in the head with it. I might regret it, but I'd probably try to shoot it just to say I did it.

You mean to tell us your not going to provide a link to see it? When I was a kid recoil was cool. Now its a nusince. Doubt I spelled that right. My big boy now is my 270WSM its cool and all. I use to have a 300RUM but I traded it for a Cooper classic in 22-250AI. That rifle was just too big.Sounded like an atom bomb with its muzzel break. It was pretty accurate.I bought it for my Black Bear hunt. Guide said I toar up a bunch of meat ( 200gr Nosler accubond 3,200 FPS.) I could've shot that bear with an30- 06 or even a 308 or my 270WSM with no problem.

My big rig is an 1874 Sharps Hartford model in 45-110. Its alot of fun to shoot at rocks on the other side of wide canyons. KABOOOM!! Big puff of white smoke, listen to the big slug cut thu the air, wait second or two, WHOP!! find a new rock to hammer.Sharps, The rifle that made the west safe for Winchester!

Real tractors have two cylinders and hand clutches.

My rifle is mine, it isn't for sale, and I only give guns to people that I really like.
