Went sneaking around the apricots friday after work got most of them just sitting waiting for movement then talking to them to stand up strait for a shotPosted ImagePosted ImagePosted ImagePosted ImagePosted ImagePosted ImagePosted Imageshots were from about 100-200yds was on the warm side but inside the orchard was pretty cool. Getting to really like this 204.
You can hop but you can't hide. Yahi Bowmen. Its not how far you can shoot but how close to the game you get when you shoot. Sights we don't need any sights. Why waist time reloading when I can be making arrows.

What ammo are you shooting? I think Switch likes those Hornady 32 grain'ers.

SBF, I was going to ask the same thing. Here is something I have discovered shooting the .204. I started shooting the 40 gr. Hornandy's. I got o.k. accuracy and good down range instant kills. The carnage was limited and looked very much like what Thumper Dunker is getting. When I switched to the 32 gr., my accuracy became insane and routine shots on jacks at 200-plus were not a problem. However the carnage was out of control. I went out last week and shot seven jacks and all of them pretty much exploded. It's something else to see feet and heads tumbling down range through the scope. Once again checking out Thumper Dunkers post, I need to head back out and bagged some bunnies. What is it about a long-eared rabbit standing in profile out about 100-yards that makes me want to shoot?????
