That's a very nice looking unit you've put together. But at the distances you use a chronograph with a high powered rifle the impact of hitting the unit may destroy the electronics. It would be substantially more impact than throwing your Chrony off of your roof onto a concrete driveway. Also if you hit the front deflector the bullet will splatter outward cutting off the sunscreen legs. You might want to take a practice shot at your Chrony Condo before installing the unit into it. You may find the Condo may not even fit the Chrony after a frontal attack of a bullet due to the impact bending the Condo. I do like the design though and hope it works out for you. But you'd be amazed what sort of deformation can be caused by even a .223 fired from ten feet. :lol:

It's been said there are only two types of chrony owners. Those who have shot a chrony, and those who have not shot a chrony yet! :lol:
