http://www.pyramydai...pl?model_id=177so i will be buying this Air Arms Pro-Sport .22 cal rifle and would like help on which scope and rings to mount on this. Im new to air guns and know little to nothing about a quality scope so i need advice. Features i would like to have are a Mil dot illuminated and possibly parallax adjustment.http://www.opticspla...d-green-il.htmli suppose something like this leapers 5th gen. I don't know which manufacturers are the good ones and what to stay away from. I dont know if this is rated for Air rifle double recoil however, i do believe the AA prosport recoil is gentler then some springers. this rifle will mainly be used for small game hunting up to maybe 100 yrd if i get good enough but probably the majority of the kill zone will be 15-75 yards.this will be my first .22 cal air rifle so if there is any seasoned AA prosport owners out there that have good accuracy with a certain pellet please share.
which scope for AA Prosport Air rifle?

As far as the scope.... I just bought a Centerpoint Adventure, 3x9x40 for $74.95. From Arizona Air.http://www.airgunsofarizona.com/Look down the left hand list for "scopes". Click on Centerpoint. Down the list you will come to an *Adventure* scope. It has what you were asking about. I do not use the red or green redical so it just comes up black cross hairs. Fine with me. It is a very clear scope. I like it just fine and I might buy two more. I will need a good scope for the Marauder I have on order.... my first PCP air gun. Can't wait!!!

I mounted a Leapers 3-9x40 scope on my Air Arms Prosport and have been very pleased with the combination. I just looked and they have them listed for $54.97. Heres the link.http://www.cheaperth.../SCP548-34.html
