Here are a couple of oldies and newb's of mine. This is my Savage modle 12 BV, 22-250, with Nikon Monark 5-20x40, bought 2010, has taken about 150 squeaks. Next is a Marlin 917VS 17hmr with Cheap GSG 3-9x40, bought 2011 and has yet to be bloodied (soon I hope). Ruger M77V, 308 w/ Redfield 6-18x40, bought 1976, has taken a couple of deer, yots, squeaks and unknown #Jacks. Remington 700 BDL Varment 223, w/Bushnell Banner 3-9x40, bought 1975, has taken a few yote's, squeaks and rabbits (Jacks/Cottens) thousands of rounds through this one. From 1975-1981 was out almost daily.

I bought a Howa .223 with the Blackhawk Axiom stock, and it never even got close to any type of consitant pattern. I followed the break in by the guys in Reno. I tried several different rounds. I sent it back to Reno. When I got it back, the Blackhawk stock fell apart right in my hands. The guys in Reno wanted me to send it back again. i declined, but i did buy the wood stock with the ten round plastic mag. There was some fit issues I took care of myself.
About a year ago I bought a Remmington 700 .223 BDL with a heavy barrel from a friend of mine. Believe this or not the 700 loves Winchesters 45 gr hollow point. Once this 700 warms up, it stays extremely consistent well within the size of a quarter and 100 yards. The Howa on the other hand was a serious waste of money.
