Other then boiling them and puting them in the over. What other methods are good? Is it good to marinate em etc.Has anyone ever pickled them and what does it taste like.

I know they sound awful but we used to have them at a Basque restaurant in Stockton on Tuesdays and they were outstanding. They were slow cooked but I don't have the recipe.

No they are good i just boiled it and then put them in the broiler it made the skin crackly I am eating them as i type very good. It's good to eat them with bread they are greasy and not very healthy but once in awhile it's OK.Next time I am going to marinate them in some garlic maybe white wine then bake.

Boil them for 2 hours, remove from the pot and throw them in the garbage then take the water and use it in your garden as gopher repellant.

They are really easy to prepare Johnny. Just put them on a plate, walk over to the garbage can and toss them in! There are to many good parts on a pig to eat to go messin' with the parts that have been marinated in hog manure for a year.
