Did it run verry far? What kind of war heads are you loading
You can hop but you can't hide. Yahi Bowmen. Its not how far you can shoot but how close to the game you get when you shoot. Sights we don't need any sights. Why waist time reloading when I can be making arrows.

Did about 50yards in a 5yard circle then about 30yards up a little draw . First shot hit deep , second was in the head coup de grace . First hit was at APPOX 220-230 yards ( paces ) , second 20yards . I'm loading 39 grains of Win 760 in Win Brass primers are CCI LR sending a 55 grain PSP Rem bullet . Out of the last three coyotes shot with this load ( recent memory ) this was the only one that made any distance .

Male . I'm really not out this time of year calling a bunch of sets , but I will shoot em if presented with a chance . We dont have a shortage around here . There is enough lands that hold coyotes that will never see hunting pressure . Even public lands ( like where this one was killed ) contain alot of dogs . Only problem is you dont usally see them standing still and by fall any noise you make with a call , means run to these coyotes .

I shot a bobcat in the chest this year at about 50 yards with my 22-250 that didn't exit. It was a 40 grain V-Max.
