I was wondering if you can shoot the v-max bullet in tubular fed magazines? My 22 mag. is a 9422 winchester. I had to use it last night with some coon action and noticed I am out of ammo for it. did scrounge around and find some ammo. Also I was quite suprised how accurate it is. I shot it today @ 50 yards and it shot 5/8" groups . Anyway curious about those v-max bullets.

I think it would work fine. Those poly tips are pretty tough. It's not like you would have to worry about a out of battery discharge.

Should be fine since they are rimfire and that pointy end will be hitting it in the middle of the case.

It's nice to pull out some guns you haven't shot in awhile.

My 77/22mag was my pickup gun for many years. Killed a lot of critters with it, still do but haven't shot it much lately.
