Here's my current rig 73 cj-5, but thinking about getting a 4 runner for the extra room.

Nice looking CJ-5. I've though of going the 4runner route but have too much money and time in my TJ to make the switch. On the plus side, you Jeep is pre-smog, something you will have to deal with should you go with a 4runner.

Jeeps are great for getting into tight spots but you're right about having more space. Nice ride.

Hay Jawbreaker, if you decide to sell that CJ I'll be first in line, My daily driver and farming / hunting rig is a 1998 Jeep Cherokee and it's been a great rig, plenty of room and great off road. There's alot of after market add ons for the Cherolees too.,,300wsm

Keep the CJ. That looks like a good one and as stated before no smog. I've got a 80 CJ5 that has to be smogged which is a PITA. Does it have the 6 cyl. ?

Keep the CJ5! I've had a couple of those in the past and they are great vehicles, especially with the inline six and manual tranny. I currently own an '05 TJ Rubicon that I use for hunting but is also my daily driver. You've already got a nice truck so don't sweat the small stuff like more room or a comfy drive. If these Jeeps were comfortable, they wouldn't be Jeeps!

I've got a RV style tow bar on the front of my CJ. I can be hooked up and rolling down the road in a few minutes. I used to have the old style jeep tow bar which was a PITA. I tow the CJ everywhere, took SJ up to Cedarville a few years back, don't even know it is behind the Powerstroke.
