It is too new for them to do the "drop test". It looks like a great pistol.Darren

They will have to submit to the state of Calif. each one of the models in every configuration for the drop test and pay the state to do the testing. Sig will also have to make new magizines for the P250 to meet the 10rd max.

It looks like a sweet weapon----The pistol I want is not legal in CaliF. unless you are a LEO.

The hard part is finding a local LEO who owns the handgun you want and is willing to sell it via PPT. :pirashoot:

Even if I found a LEO with the gun I want it can't be transfered PPT as it is not legal for sale in Calif. LEO's can get weapons that are not legal for sale to the general public under certian circumstances.

Not true, a P250 can be transferred via PPT to a non LEO but the over 10rd mags can not. So if a LEO was to sell one, an out of state resident brings one in and then later wants to sell it, a parent gifts one to you from out of state, these are ways one could acquire one in CA.
