Hello, I live in San Diego and I've had a lousy month of rabbti hunting. I'm kicking around a few ideas about an end of season weekend trip to hunt rabbits in southern CA. I'm new to CA and have been looking at a bunch of different places. I'm considering a trip to either the Carrizo plain, the mohave desert, the Colorado River Indian Reservation near Parker or hunting in the San Bernadino forest somewhere -possibly near arrowhead lake or else the San Jacinto wilderness. i'm looking at going the second or third week in January. Got any ideas about what would be best? I appreciate any advice. Thanks!
End of season trip

Lots of jack rabbits down in the El Centro valley! Also lots of BLM land in our local deserts. Why travel farther than you have to?
