I've been wanting to post a photo of my new toy for a while. Well I just figured it out so here it is. Its a FX cyclone in .22 cal from air guns of Arizona. I mounted a Leupold VX III 6.5-20 X 40 scope. Only fired it in the backyard on the low power setting so far. Its very quiet on the low setting due to the shrouded barrel. I purchased it after watching the DVD by CPC member VARMINTAIR. The DVD is Airgun hunting the ca ground squirrel. If you haven't seen it you should check it out it's very informative and action packed. A PCP air rifle was shot a lot in the DVD. I've owned a Beeman R-1 in .20 cal for about 15 years and did a lot of hunting with it awhile back. Its a great rifle but I wanted to try something different. Heres a photo. Posted Image

They are both nice looking guns and the FX is a great one. But that R-1 has beautiful piece of wood for a stock. Did you order that stock after you bought the gun?

I purchased the R-1 from Firearms & supplies Inc. back in 1993. I purchased over the phone and it was shipped to my home in socal. I believe it is a factory Beeman stock. I didn't pay any extra for a Deluxe stock. I just got lucky.

Nice guns. Sure would like to see some groups shot with it. That is nice looking wood on the R-1.

Posted ImageI haven't had a chance to shoot at any distance past 15 meters. My yard is not to big. The group is about what I would expect at a short distance after a pot of coffee.

Has possibilities. Just need to get out where you can crank the power up and stretch the range out. :D
